Organized by the Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Taipei/Toronto (T.E.S.T.T.), the Taiwan Film Festival in Toronto is a non-profit public cultural event. Co-hosted with Vancouver and Seattle, the festival is comparable in scale to the Taiwan Film Festival in Vancouver. It serves as a platform for cultural exchange between the Taiwanese and Toronto communities, promoting an understanding of Taiwan’s culture through film, arts, and multimedia.

The TFFT is aimed at first-generation Asian-Canadians, film enthusiasts, and the broader GTA community, offering a unique opportunity to explore Taiwanese culture and its diverse stories through cinematic experiences. By showcasing Taiwan’s vibrant films, the festival seeks to bridge cultural gaps and strengthen connections within Toronto’s multicultural landscape.
